The world we live in is one where religion has been relegated to the mosque, whereas Islam is and has always been a lived experience. What role does taqwa play in the day to day elements of our life which appear to be furthest from anything sacred? What does it mean to be God conscious in today’s world outside of our religious spaces? How can a deepened relationship to God allow us to navigate our approach to relationships, work, parenting, and other facets of our life? These are questions that will be explored in this session.
